Frost seeded red clover in 2014 LTER Biodiversity Study winter wheat plots. Red clover was seeded into treatment B3 (111, 203, 306, 403), B6 (107, 207, 317, 406), B17 (116, 211, 302, 417) for a total of 12 plots all of which had winter wheat planted in November of 2013. Clover was seeded at 13 lbs/A with Gandy air seeder with a 15' boom.
Seeded at 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. weather conditions at this time were clear and sunny, temperature was 33 degrees F with calm winds.
