Battle Creek Farm Bureau custom sprayed herbicide post emergence in GLBRC Main Site soybeans in the bait crop, rep 6 corn plot (very east end), rep 6 soybeans (2 plots east of miscanthus plot), and corn behind the brown house. Everything applied with Buccaneer5 (chemical name is (Glyphosate) which is a generic for of Round-Up), with Cornbelt N-Tense (being used as ammonium sulfate replacement for "loaded" glyphosate herbiced). Rep 6 corn plot (very east plot), behind the brown house corn, and the south and east outer edges of the bait crop soybeans were sprayed with 32 oz/A of Buccaneer5 and 1qt/100 gal of Cornbelt N-Tense. Rep 6 two soybean plots and the North, East and South inside edges of the bait crop were sprayed with 60 oz/A of Buccaneer5 and 1qt/100 gal of Cornbelt N-Tense. Application was completed by Ron Balowski from Battle Creek Farm Bureau using a Hagie highboy sprayer equipped with 90 ft boom. Drop nozzles were used when spraying corn to get down in between the rows. Weather conditions were sunny 72 degrees F, 62 % humidity and calm NE winds. Start time of application was 9:00 a.m. and end time was 10:50 a.m.
