Battle Creek Farm Bureau custom sprayed herbicide post emergence in GLBRC Main Site G2's, G3's and G4's all replications. All plots applied with Buccaneer5 (chemical name is (Glyphosate) which is a generic for of Round-Up) at a rate of 32 oz/A, with Cornbelt N-Tense (being used as ammonium sulfate replacement for "loaded" glyphosate herbiced) at 1qt/100 gal. Application was completed by Ron Balowski from Battle Creek Farm Bureau using a Hagie highboy sprayer equipped with 90 ft boom. Drop nozzles were used when spraying corn to get down in between the rows. Weather conditions were sunny 72 degrees F, 62 % humidity and calm NE winds. Start time of application was 9:00 a.m. and end time was 10:50 a.m.
