Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 1.0 inches (25.4 mm) of water was applied (measured by three rain gauges at three different times within the irrigation event for a total of nine rain gauge measurements). Irrigation system delay setting: 20%. Irrigation pressure: 19-20 psi. Pressure at the pump: 50 psi. Time of application was between 9:30-11:30 a.m. Weather conditions at 1:30 p.m.: 78 degrees F (25.5 degrees C), 40% relative humidity, winds: 1-5 mph (ave of 2 mph) out of the south-east.
