Jim Stoneburner used the JD 5425 and JD 970 cultimulcher to pack the soil in the switchgrass fertility/harvest timing study. The area was uneven after Jim went over the area so I went over the area three times with the JD 6420 tractor and JD 960 field cultivator. I went over the area in different directions, I went deep with the field cultivator to move the soil around to make sure to level the soil in the study area. After the field cultivation Jim when over the area again with the JD 5425 tractor and JD 970 cultimulcher.
