Burned LTER main site treatment 7, all replications, reps 1, 5, 4, 3, 2, & 6. Started burning at 11:45 a.m. and finished at 3:30 p.m., this was just burning time and does not include setup and cleanup. All plots had a visual rating near 80 - 90 % of each plot burned. Weather stations were not functioning at this time so weather conditions are an estimate. Please refer back to historic weather data for exact weather conditions. Weather conditions at start were mostly sunny with temperatures 35-45 degrees F with swirling winds between 1-6 mph. Weather conditions at the end were mostly sunny with temperatures 50-55 degrees F with swirling winds between 1-6 mph.
