November 7, 2012: Dennis Pennington mowed the native prairie (M2) and switchgrass (M3) fields at Marshall Farm. November 8, 20012: Jack Pennington baled the native prairie (M2) and switchgrass (M3) fields at Marshall Farm. Jack used his JD 4630 tractor and Hesston baler. Before baling they raked the windrows together i.e. they raked two windrows into one windrow. Pennington's used their tractor for raking. Penn-Dale Farm used their tractor to bring all the square bales to one location in the field. Penn-Dale Farm used their Bob-cat skid-steers to load the bales out of the field onto semi-trucks.
