Chisel plowed the biodiversity study. Chisel plowed all corn, soybean, and spring fallow plots (all spring tilled plots) treatments: B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9, B11, B12, B13, B15, B16, B18, and B19. See notes below for specific dates replications were chisel plowed. May 12, 2004 chisel plowed replication 4 only. May 17, 2004 chisel plowed replications 1, 2, and 3. Chisel plowed with the JD7520 tractor and JD714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed at 8 inches (20.3 cm) deep. Chisel plowed in B2 (3.8 mph) or B3 (4.5 mph) 2,000 rpm.
