Comment:
Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 0.90 inches (2.286 cm) of water was applied (as measured by four rain gauges). Irrigation system delay setting: 25%. Irrigation pressure: 20 psi. Pressure at the pump: 50-52 psi. Time of application was between 9:30-11:00 a.m. Weather conditions at the start: 87 degrees F (20 degrees C), 73% relative humidity, winds: 1-3 mph out of the south-west. Weather conditions at the end: 75 degrees F (23.88 degrees C), 56% relative humidity, winds: 1-5 mph out of the south-west.
