Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 1.1 inches (2.8 cm) of water was applied (as measured by rain gauges). Pressure at the irrigator was 19 p.s.i., delay setting was 18. Pressure at the pump was 50 p.s.i. Time of application was between 8:45-10:30 a.m. Weather conditions at start were cloudy, 69 degrees F (20.6) degrees C), 77% relative humidity, winds calm 0-1 mph from SSW.
