Comment:
Soil finished the LTER Main Site Treatment T7 Early Successional plot, tilled microplot areas only (reps. 5, 1, 3, 6, 4 and 2). Microplots were soil finished with deep passes from N to S to reduce soil berm buildup on the N side of the plots, then finished with shallow passes from S to N to leave the microplots smooth without tire marks. Lastly, this was followed up with a headland pass from W to E. Equipment used was the JD7420 tractor and the JD960 10' field cultivator (small soil finisher)
