Chisel Plowed the LTER Main Site T4 Reps: 1, 2, 3, and 4 on May 17, 2012, and Reps 5 and 6 were chisel plowed on May 18, 2012. Chisel plow was power washed prior to entering organic plots. Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Plots were chisel plowed N-S and finished with 2-4 headland passes going E-W on both north and south side of each plot. Chisel plowed at 8 inches (20.32 cm) deep.
