Flail moved corn stubble in three studies: both N-rate studies, irrigated and non-irrigated, and the corn treatments iin the LTER CE Biofuel Study. Treatments and plots harvested in the LTER CE Biofuel Study were treatments CE1 plots: 108, 202, 304, 401; and CE3 plots: 105, 207, 301, 403. Corn stubble was mowed to assist in stubble decomposition. Flail mowing was completed using the JD 7420b tractor and JD 115 flail mower.
