Comment:
Fertilized the Lysimeter Field at the LTER main site. Both sides, north and south, of the field were fertilized. Liquid 28% fertilizer 28-0-0 (urea-ammonium nitrate) was applied at 35 gallons/A. Since 28% fertilizer weighs 10.65 lbs/A, this equated to 105 lbs N/A. Fertilizer was knifed between the rows of corn using a 15' liquid fertilizer applicator. Applied with the JD7520a tractor and the 6 row fertilizer applicator.
