Comment:
Sprayed the LTER Main Site T1 (replications R1, R4, R2 & R3), T2 (replications R2 & R4), with Roundup (32 oz/A) + AMS (3.4 #/A). Weather conditions at time of application: Sunny, 65F winds from the southwest at 1 mph, 84% relative humidity. Applied using a JD5220 tractor traveling 4.6 mph (gear C1, 1450 rpm) pulling a Top Air Sprayer equipped with a hydraulic centrifugal sprayer pump and a Raven 440 automatic carrier control unit. Turbo TeeJet 11003 nozzles were used, spaced 15 inches apart with a total boom lenght of 30 feet. 20-30 psi were used. Water was applied at 20 gal/A as carrier.
