Harvested LTER Main Site Treatments T3 and T4 soft red winter wheat, (replications T3R4, T4R3, T3R2, T4R2, T3R3, T4R1, T3R1, T4R6 & T3R6). Harvest started at approximately 2:00 pm and finished at 9:30 pm. For all plots, collected the weight of grain in the east and west sides of the plot, percent moisture, and test weight. The west side of plot consisted of a headland (15' wide) pass along both the north and south side of the plot and then the remaining west half of the plot. The east side of the plot consisted of the remaining half of the plot. The number of rows of grain in both the east and west sides of the plot were counted and marked prior to harvesting. Wheat was combined off the plots using a John Deere 9410 combine. Weights were determined using a Unverferth weigh wagon equipped with weigh cells. Moistures were determined using a portable Dicky John grain analysis computer.
