Chisel plowed the LTER Biodiversity Study treatments B3, B5, B6, B8, B15, and B16. The treatments chisel plowed were corn and soybeans plots with cover crops growing. Chisel plowed with the JD7520 tractor and JD714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed 8 inches deep. Treatments B3: 111, 203, 306, 403; B5: 114, 217, 312, 405; B8: 118, 214, 310, 408; B6: 107, 207, 317, 406; B8: 118, 214, 310, 408; B15: 112, 213, 301, 415; and B16: 101, 210, 308, 416.
