Applied 23 gals/A (70 lbs N/A) of 28% N (28-0-0) to the miscanthus in the GLBRC experiment treatment G6 reps 1-5. Nitrogen was applied with JD 7420a tractor and 6 row fertilizer applictor. *Microplot – Unfertilized Check: In treatment G6 we will keep one strip the entire length of the plot by 15’ wide (6 rows) on the West side of the plots as an untreated (unfertilized) check. We will harvest the middle area of the unfertilized strip separately and record the biomass weight from the microplot area.
