Sprayed GLBRC main site treatment G8 poplars all replication with ”Liquid Fence® Deer & Rabbit Repellent” (The Liquid Fence Company, Brodheadsville, PA) for deer repellency effect. Liquid Fence was applied at a rate of 8 oz concentrate per gallon of H2O carrier. Spray was applied with a 4 gallon backpack sprayer. Only the outside-most trees on all sides of each plot were sprayed. Each tree was sprayed with focus on the growing tip and young leaves from approximately 1' to 5' height. Effort was made to completely cover all the leaves in that height zone, sprayed to the point of run-off. A total of 16 ozs of concentrate in a total of 2 gallons of H2O carrier was used on each 0.3 acre plot.
