Applied 0-0-62, potash fertilizer, at 74 lbs/A (83.08 kg/ha) to treatment 1, replications 6, 3, 2, 4, 5, and 1, and treatment 2, replications 2, 3, 5, 4, 1, and 6. The 74 lbs/A provided 46 lbs/A of K20 to the plots. The fertilizer was applied with the JD 7420(b) tractor traveling at 5 mph and Gandy Orbit-Air with a 30 ft boom. Treatment 3 was applied on May 3, 2008. Not sure the rate of fertilizer for T3 plots. I believe it was at a lower rate.
