{{PL: Irrigated both the Rotation study and the Hairy Vetch mgt study in the Ancillary site using the Linear Mover. This was an emergency application because of the drought. Some stress was showing up in the Rotation study and the no-till beans were not emerging. The Hairy Vetch study was in bad shape and it was the main reason we irrigated. The soybeans were emerging poorly and the corn, though mostly emerged, was badly stressed. Jim B. ran the machine as slow as possible (2 %) from the south end of the field to the north. Two rain gages were placed in the field and they read as follows: 3.0 inches; 1.8 inches. }}
