{{PL: Jeff, Lolita, and Kasey freed the suburban from the grips of muck and mire. Flag search continued …..looked for two; found two. Search interrupted by gun-fire (10:30am) and falling dead goose. Hunters ran onto the LTER field and ran out after retrieving dead goose when the saw both L and K approaching. L and K decided to stop the approach, due to safety concerns. Robertson, Lauff, and Johnson consulted. It was suggested we continue the flag hunt on a sunny day between the hours of 10-3 when the likelihood of flying geese and hunter encounters would be minimal. }}
