2013-06-05	Herbicide Application	treatments 5, 7, and 10 were sprayed with 1 quart / acre Roundup Max plus 17 lb sprayable grade Ammonium Sulfate /100 gal water with a carrier of 20 gal/acre of water to control new weed growth.
2014-05-05	Herbicide Application	treatments G5, G6 and G7 very weedy with bromegrass, quackgrass, winter annuals and new seedlings. switchgrass and miscantus was still dormant. Did observe a few shoots of miscanthus just starting to emerge. Did not find any germinating Canada rye, so sprayed G7 also. (side note: poplar buds just starting to swell)
2014-04-30	Herbicide Application	sprayed quackgrass for replanting of miscanthus. sprayed 40 oz/A Roundup Max + 17 lb/A AMS with boom sprayer. sprayed to control quackgrass for replant. Miscanthus plant up 3-5 inches.
2021-05-18	Herbicide Application	Sprayed LTER Main Site treatment T2 all replications (5, 2, 3, 4, 1, 6) for pre-emergence weed control where corn was planted. Sprayed with Roundup Powermax at a rate of 1 qt/A , ammonium sulfate at 3.4 lbs/A and Acuron at 3 qts/A. Weather conditions at the start 12:50 p.m. were partly sunny, 73.1 degrees F,60.6 % humidity with 7-8 mph south east winds. Conditions at the end 2:50 p.m. were partly sunny, 74.9 degrees F, 56.6 % humidity, and 7-8 mph winds out of the south east. REI: 48 hours.
2017-06-06	Herbicide Application	Applied post emerge herbicide application between the 6th and 7th of June. sprayed L1 and M1 from tool shed to east by noon on 06/06/2017 sprayed from tool shed to the west 06/07/2017 615 am wind got to high to finish on the 6th. Used 15 gallons water per acre as carrier
2023-03-30	Fertilizer Application	Spread AMS, Kmag, Potash, Micro Boost, and Titan blend on KBS commercial wheat. Used Salford spreader and Deere 6155M. Blend analysis was 10.2-0-19.8-17s-.113Ca-2.7Mg-.064B-.01Cu-.081Mn-.29Zn with a rate of 300 lbs per acre.
2023-04-10	Fertilizer Application	ASP corn fertilizer application. 50 lbs of urea and 50 lbs of ams per acre for a rate of 100 lbs per acre. used rental spreader because Nutrien tenders were not able to deliver bulk fertilizer.
2025-04-28	Herbicide Application	MLE site (MC) Lake City MI Dormant application of glyphosphate herbicide to G-5 (rep 3,1) G-6 (All).
