I would guess that the JD 5400 or JD 6400 tractor was used and either the Case IH 15' rotary hoe was used or the JD 400 rotary hoe was used.

Planted No till drill Buffalo planter to trt 3 and 4 at 178,000 sd/a. Also Rotary Hoed trt 3 and 4 in Rotation Entry Point Study corn plots. Plans are to cut alfalfa middle of next week. Talked with Jim Bronson some about the budget summaries. Called Dr. Harwood in morning to discuss Burdock in trt 3 main site. Should ask Phil and Gross about control.}}

I would guess that we used the caseIH rotary hoe and either the JD 6400 tractor or the JD 6420 tractor. Rotary hoed T3 plots first, after rotary hoeing T3 plots we cleaned the rotary hoe before rotary hoeing T4 plots.
